The leaves are gorgeous and the food is very fresh, making October a great month for food.  The Brewster Inn has several weekly specials that their chef’s have created and are available to enjoy for a limited time.  Take a look and plan out your next visit to the Brewster Inn in Cazenovia.

October 8 – 15
Appetizer:  Sautéed Crispy Veal Sweetbreads with a pear and arugula salad and lemon brown butter
Entrée:   Tandori Pork shank braised with an Apple cider coconut & vanilla bean curry served with a cauliflower risotto
Entrée:  Porcini mushroom rubbed Russian Wild Boar Chop with chèvre whipped potatoes, grilled broccoli rob

October 16 – 21
Appetizer:  Maple Lacquered Braised Pork Belly with sautéed local mustard greens and cheddar grits
Entrée:  Elk Osso Bucco braised with fall root vegetables & Malbec Demi – glace served with parmesan risotto and pine nuts gremolata
Entrée:  Roasted Half Duck topped with a raspberry cognac gastrique and served with a fall vegetable hash

October 22 -28
Appetizer:  Grilled Manchester Quail stuffed with spinach & goat chèvre
Entrée:  Berkridge Pork Cheeks braised in tomato butter brandy demi – glace served with a three potato terrine and sautéed greens
Entrée:  Braised Colorado Lamb Shanks with Cranberries & Chipotle Adobo and Soft Cougar Gold Polenta
